My wife and I had dinner at 24 Carrot Bistro tonight and left wondering why this place isn’t absolutely packed every evening.

We ordered both duck dishes, the duck confit and the duck à l’orange, and both were outstanding. The confit was rich and perfectly cooked, while the duck à l’orange somehow managed to feel both classic and creative at the same time.

We also shared the calamari, tried several mocktails, and finished with the carrot cake, desert bite, and earl grey crème brûlée. Every single thing that came to the table was beautifully presented and genuinely delicious.

The atmosphere strikes a wonderful balance between upscale and comfortable, making it equally good for date nights, celebrations, or simply treating yourself to a great meal.

Honestly, this feels like the kind of restaurant you’d expect to find in Boulder or downtown Denver rather than tucked away in Erie. It’s absolutely worth the trip to Erie just for dinner.

    We’ll definitely be back.

I heard so much of this place and was surprised by how bad a simple scrambled egg was made. I ordered it well done, it was served loose and horribly salty. I didn't ask for salt, and eggs usually come plain so you can add your own salt and pepper. If you can't make a simple scramble egg, that speaks volumes!

Exceptional food and outstanding service in a wonderful space - we had fresh appetizers, delicious crab cakes, great trout, and a perfect burger plus terrific service from Kelly; the new owner Sarah Morgan stopped by our table to check with us (and then with every other table); fresh flowers complement the high brick walls and the comprehensive bar. It was well worth the trip north from the center of Denver.

I was drawn in by the cocktail menu right away because the descriptions made everything sound so interesting. What stood out even more at 24 Carrot Bistro was the farm-to-table approach, which felt a bit special and not something I run into often in this area. It is on the pricier side, but for me it was worth the visit.

Finally went to this local place for brunch after Saturday morning HS graduation with our graduate and a friend to do something different - before they left to do the rounds of that day's parties. Loved the food and the vibe! Our order was the half-order of calamari, french toast, farmer's benedict, biscuits & gravy, a side salad and a side of fries. Everything was excellent! The most unusual dish and standout was their unique, gluten-free take on egg's benedict. Absolutely recommend it! Hard to describe. The flavors are unique starting with a sweet potato cake instead of english muffin as the base. Service was wonderful! He was attentive, professional, friendly, answered questions. It did seem like the entrees were a little bit slow coming out, but not enough to take off a star. We didn't order cocktails this time, but saw several on the menu that looked intriguing. (Mocktails, too.)
