  So happy HB was finally able to find a place to call home!! Mead needed something like this! We love coming to the family/pet friendly brewery! It’s close to home and the variety of food trucks they have daily are great!! And the staff…they have started to feel like family! So many memories already made and more to come!

  Highland Lake Brewing has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Mead. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a great selection of beers that always gives everyone something to enjoy. The staff is consistently friendly and makes you feel right at home. The outdoor patio is perfect if you have kids, with plenty of space to hang out while you enjoy a pint. They also do a great job bringing in quality local food trucks, so there’s always something good to eat. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

  My young family and I LOVE Highlandlake Brewing! We’ve been pretty avid customers since the beginning. The staff and atmosphere are incredibly welcoming and the beer and food truck offerings are great! HB is super family and dog friendly an incredible part of the Mead community.

  I thought they would have their own beers being a “brewery” but that’s not at all the case so that was a surprise. Didn’t see any food truck at all even though website says they always have a food truck whenever they’re open ?! Vibe was just lame & quiet at 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon.. but you’re in Mead so remember that, there’s nothing in Mead, there is no energy in Mead & this place is just pretty sterile & bland. The outside patio has nothing to look at, no ambiance, no music, nothing but some tables & chairs. They do have some pool tables but it would feel like you’re playing in the back of a cafeteria! They did have some good music inside & real good service from the bartender but definitely not your typical lively CO brewery vibe at all, at least not on this day.
