  Amazing!!!! Everything about this bar is on point, from the exceptional service, to the AMAZING FOOD, to the great drinks and amazing prices! Would and will recommend this place even more now! Fantastic all the way around. Bar tender was great and cook was amazing he went above and beyond. Taco Tuesdays at the Spur from now on i think hell yes! Love love love this bar and tavern! 🍻 Cheers

  Love this small town place!!! Great homemade food. Local meat from a person who actually visits the bar (randy). And homemade bread items for the sandwiches. The servers, Shannon, Nikki and Jamie will never ever let you down! Super energetic and attentive and nothing bothers them 😁.

  Stopped in for a quick bite on New years day, very happy they were open we were served with a smile and everything was much better than expected! Had the green chili fries and a French dip sandwich taste was just the best! Hot fresh and very good! Was the perfect way to start the New Year with my family! Highly recommend this place if you’re in Platteville stop in here and get some excellent food and the best service anywhere! We plan to make this a monthly get together spot!! Thanks

  Cool cowboy bar. Excellent service and unique bites. I had a kroutburger. That is burger and cabbage sauteed up and baked in a homemade dough. I had never heard of this. It was good. And big. I think I'd go mushroom swiss next time and get some A1 for it. The green chili was really good. I had a bowl.

  Was looking for a spot halfway between Greeley and Firestone to meet a friend for lunch - Platteville fit the bill. Don't sleep on The Silver Spur - behind the unassuming exterior hides a solid bar and restaurant. Service is friendly, beer is cold, prices are reasonable, and the food is fantastic! Homemade bread? Sign me up!
