  I drove about 15 minutes to this ice cream shop because I had promised my son a treat. We waited our turn, placed our order, and just as the staff member was about to prepare it, we were told they only accept cash and do not take cards. Unfortunately, I don’t usually carry cash since card payments are accepted almost everywhere these days, so we had to leave without getting anything. My son was really disappointed, which made the experience even more frustrating.
  
  The only positive part of our visit was the employee, she was kind and polite while explaining the situation. However, it would really help if the shop clearly communicated their payment policy ahead of time or considered offering card payment options.

  Absolutely love this place! Eaton Ice Cream Shop is a true local gem. Family-owned and run with real care, they make their ice cream and popsicles fresh right here-nothing mass-produced or artificial about it. With a wide variety of flavors (they had around 28 when we visited and keep adding more), there’s something for everyone, from classic creamy favorites to fun fruity options, sundaes, shakes, and more.
  
  The ice cream is rich, smooth, and full of flavor-exactly what homemade should taste like. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the shop feels like a sweet little escape, and supporting a small local business that pours so much heart into every treat makes it even better. Perfect for a family outing, a date, or just treating yourself on a hot Colorado day.
  
  If you’re in or near Eaton, skip the chain places and come here. Highly recommend-we’ll definitely be back! 🍦✨

  Great tasting ice cream. My mango ice cream and strawberry ice cream tasted like the real fruit. My daughter dropped her ice cream cup and they immediately replaced it.
