  When my partner and I were sat we were left unattended for probably about 10 minutes with numerous servers who walked right past us. No water, and despite us being there for Taco Tuesday, they forgot to give us the menu lol. We never recieved napkins, and went long times without being attended on. The tacos were fine, but for a dollar? Good! The cuts on the onions were inconsistent, leaving me with some huge chunks, and the flavor isn't amazing. I do wish they provided sauces, like most restaurants, especially since a few tacos are dry. Overall, okay but needs massive improvements in the service!

  Ordered the mushroom taco and it was disgustingly salty. The other reviews on the salt and service issues are genuine issues this restaurant has. Also, the waitress consistently took over 10 minutes between checking in. I sat with my half eaten mushroom taco waiting for the check... unacceptable. We timed it, I got the check after waiting for 16 minutes. It wasn't even with our waitress, we had to flag a different one down. The worst service I have ever had.

  BLUF: pretty sure no one that works here has ever been to a taco shop or Mexican restaurant before. I’d start there.
  
  There is a waiter card that you put up when you need something since they can’t see when your metal shot glass is empty. When did it get confusing to be a waiter or waitress should show up at your table? Isn’t that how you “earn” a tip.
  
  Water cups are metal shot glasses. You have to buy chips. They sell some mayonnaise based burger topping and call it tres queso. I asked the waiter if he had ever tried the queso, and he said no, is it good. The answer is no.
  
  The tacos were fairly good. The shrimp taco was delicious. Full of flavor. The carne asda taco was also good with good spicy peppers. Nashville hot taco was very good.
  
  My son ordered 4 street tacos which if things weren’t interesting enough, this was mind blowing. All of the ingredients came out like it was fajitas at Olive Garden. Radishes, pickled onions, onions, tomatoes, pickled cactus, 300 jalapeños, and lettuce with cilantro. At least put on the street tacos, “some assembly required”
  
  The spicy margarita was good but it look like they spilled the taijin all down the side instead of on the rim like a normal restaurant in the free world.

  I don’t usually leave anything less than five stars, so this one’s a bit tough.
  
  I was visiting Windsor, Colorado and put up a post asking for restaurant recommendations, and this place came up multiple times. It was clearly a must try spot for tacos in Windsor, especially the balcony seating. We were told we couldn’t sit upstairs due to staffing, which was a bit of a letdown. What made it more confusing is that shortly after we sat down, we watched another group get seated upstairs. That part didn’t make a lot of sense.
  
  Walking in was also a little awkward. There was no sign saying seat yourself or wait to be seated, so we just stood there. Staff made eye contact a few times but didn’t acknowledge us, so it turned into a bit of a standoff before we finally got seated.
  
  That said, the space itself is awesome. The aesthetic is dialed, neon sign, dark walls, great overall vibe. Easily one of the more unique restaurant atmospheres in Windsor.
  
  Service is where things felt a little inconsistent. The staff was genuinely nice and polite the entire time, no issues with attitude at all, but execution was a bit scattered. Drinks were forgotten until after we finished eating, they did apologize, and once we were ready to wrap up, it was hard to get help again. I ended up going to the bar to track someone down for a to go box and to close out.
  
  The food, though, was excellent. Shrimp tacos, ahi tuna tacos, California burrito, all really good. Easily some of the best tacos in Windsor, and a strong option if you’re looking for good Mexican food in Northern Colorado.
  
  Overall, it felt like a bit of a one off experience on the service side. I would absolutely come back, and if things are a little more dialed in next time, this is an easy top tier restaurant in Windsor.

  We had an amazing experience. I got off work late and was able to make it before there last call and they were still great. Usually the food at other places is mediocre when places are about to close but not here. We don't plan on being this late again but I want to show my appreciation for them taking care of us. Jeff and Sara were the best!! They deserve a raise!! They made our experience the best. It couldn't have been any better. We plan on becoming regulars for the Taco Tuesdays. THANK YOU!!!
