Way behind on posting this review! Myself and my husband have been attending Mountain Man Rendezvous since we were kids. September 2025
Was my first time attending this location for one. My family would call it a town da vou being so close to town. It’s a beautiful site. I enjoyed the Trapper Days vous because they opened the fort up for a day event. Great for the whole town and family oriented. A lot of
History! Can’t wait to come back to this site more!

I never knew this place was around. It was amazing to hear all the history and see all the amazing things they do there. I will be going back and attending school, or go to trappers days, or check out one of the womens teas. So much to see, do, and hear.

I've had fun participating in displays there for years. They feed us living historians and reenactors.

The event needs to be promoted better.

Ft. Lupton is a hidden gem in Ft. Lupton, Colorado. It is run by volunteers and offers a wonderful historic trip back to the mid-1800's. Google "special event dates and visiting dates/times" because you just missed the Trapper Days Rendezvous. It had many authentic trapper vendors set up, a black powder muzzle rifle range, spinning wheel demonstrations, blacksmithing, blade sharpening, and wood carving. The Buffalo Soldiers did an amazing routine that drew quite a crowd. The trading post was also open for business and really busy. This is a perfect place to leave the 2000's behind and enjoy the past.

I came here on a field trip with my daughter's school. It is a really cool place. All of the volunteers were extremely friendly and focused on making it a good experience for the kids. There were lots of cool things to see. Great stories told by the volunteers. The many hours they've put into restoring this place have made it a community treasure. Thanks!
