Fantastic collection of WW1 aviation memorabilia including actual flying (as of 2024) warbirds of the era. Andy and his team were actively working on several of the aircraft today (May 4th, 2024). He and others were knowledgable and happy to share their passion and fascinating history of some of these aircraft. We called first because they're not always open, but they were today and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth the short trip from Denver.

Wow! What a gem. Andy gave us a little tour of the hanger and showed us some of the planes. So cool. Great group, passionate about their (air)craft. 😅 Highly recommend if you're interested in WWI or WWII planes. Excited to come back sometime.
Best time is on Saturdays. Call ahead for availability. -

I visited the museum today. It contains an incredible array of items belonging to numerous WW1 aviators and aces, a rare book collection, and more. The guided tour by curator Andy Parks was the best museum experience of my life, topping the Baseball HOF, the WW1 museum in Kansas City, and any other. If you like military aviation, and want to see the very uniforms and medals and other items of your boyhood heroes, you must absolutely see this place. Unbelievable.
