Excellent spot in Johnstown for breakfast or lunch. If you’re looking for great tacos, breakfast burritos, or Sonoran hot dogs in Northern Colorado, Los Rudos absolutely delivers.
The breakfast burrito is legit, classic green chili done right, and I love that you can get it handheld or smothered depending on your mood. The asada fries are a must, crispy fries loaded with flavorful steak and melty cheese. And if you’ve never had a Sonoran hot dog, do yourself a favor and try one here, they’re bangin’.
It’s set in a cozy little house with easy dine-in seating and convenient takeout, which adds to that small town Johnstown charm. The owner is incredibly kind and genuinely appreciative of every guest, which you can feel the moment you walk in.
This is the kind of local spot that makes you want to come back again and again. -

Best Torta I've ever had. Went with carnitas and it was perfectly cooked, not greasy or overly salty like it can be. Bread itself was chewy and the cheese was browned onto it making it more delicious. Hard to get a picture that encapsulates the greatness.

My #1 pick for Mexican food in the area. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Definitely recommend this place if you live in the area. You always know you are gonna get some great food when you go to a restaurant that used to be a house. Tacos and asada fries are on point, the Juarez burger is pretty good. The hot dog ismid but still good.

Now this is Authentic Mexican food!!!!! No green chili New Mexico stuff (no offense 🙈 lol) I mean they do sell green chili but I came here for Mexican food!
Let’s just say this area (Milliken/Johnstown) doesn’t exactly have any real good Mexican places! This is the ONLY spot you will find that’s truly worth it! Their carne asada fries, tortas and hot dogs were amazing 🤤! Quality food! The carne asada had a great flavor and it was soft not hard and dry like other places!
It was my first time trying it and won’t be my last time, definitely going back to try the rest! Give it a try you wont be disappointed!!!! 👏
