Great brunch place with a Cajun twist. Lucile’s has a nice shaded patio. Biscuits are light, airy & huge! Homemade jams & applebutter. We had red beans & rice which was loaded with shredded meat & an andouille sausage and a shrimp & grits. Nikki was an excellent server & made great recommendations. Beignets were hot & fresh.

We had an excellent experience -- Saturday morning gem. The Apple Pie specialty latte was the best and basically a fishbowl w a handle, so I had some left to take in a to-go cup. I'm Midwestern and the strawberry rhubarb jam was spot on! with their massive square-cut sheet biscuit; bring a friend. The staff was so friendly it felt like I was in someone's dining room, which is only slightly smaller than the actual dining room of this quaint, bustling restaurant.

I was looking for a lunch restaurant close to my work, found the place on the Goog’s about 10 minutes away. Called in to see if it was easier to pre-order or just show up. She
Stated either would fine, because of what I was going to order, I figured it was best to go there and just order it directly.
Stopped in, placed the order and the gal that I spoke with was the same person who helped me.
Placed my order, waited for 15/20 minutes for the food.
Made it back to my office, tried the onion rings (see photo), they were ridiculous and the highlight of the lunch. My sandwich was good, not great.
In hindsight, I should have eaten there (next time I will). The bread got a little weird. Probably would not have had the same experience.
Like a bonehead, didn’t order any beignets.
All that being said, I’ll definitely be back! -

I love this place! Even though I don't like spicy food, I have the French toast for breakfast, and the shrimp/lobster Po' Boy for lunch. The Erie location has the most appealing outside seating area.
