  Cannot recommend this place highly enough. The inside is beautifully decorated, colorful and clean. The service is next level. Sometimes my kids will count how long it takes for them to fill our drinks and it’s always under a minute. Chips and salsa/beans is solid and is truly bottomless. Now for the food….THE FOOD. It is so good and the consistency is unmatched. We’ve been coming for 8 years with zero bad experiences. My recs are the chili relleno (crispy), carne asada, the Colorado burrito, pork green chili, and my kids love the cheese enchiladas. I hope this place never disappears!

  A great little Mexican restaurant. Service was crisp and friendly. Quiet atmosphere so you can really talk! Big basket of complimentary chips was a plus (just like Texas!). Salsa was fresh with a nice kick.
  Cheese enchiladas, refried beans, rice, taco and tamales- all obviously homemade.
  Really enjoyable. We'll be back.

  I could see this cafe outside my hotel room window and decided to give it a try and I was delighted to find them open (30 min) before closing and empty. The host/server was quick to take my order and bring out my takeout dinner. Very nice atmosphere and large menu of choices. The combination of 2 enchiladas came with black beans and rice - I asked for chicken and salsa Verde. It was nice sized but not enough Verde or spice for my tastes. Thanks for the convenience and hospitality.

  I went to Pueblo Viejo to meet with some of my family and ended up waiting for an hour for my people to show up due to a miscommunication around when we were meeting but the staff made me feel welcomed despite sitting there alone for so long. I had a steak dish with peppers, onions, and cheese and it was amazing. Their bean dip is also delicious and I went through two bowls of it while I was waiting. It felt like it barely took 5 minutes at most for our food to show up after we ordered.

  I walked in expecting a nice meal but unfortunately left feeling completely frustrated. The service was incredibly slow and it felt like we were invisible to the staff the entire time we were sitting at our table. The food when it finally arrived was cold and definitely lacked the flavor I was looking for, making the whole experience feel like a big waste of time and money.
