Park is beautiful and well maintained. My only complaint and the reason for only 3 stars is because the bathrooms are always locked and the water fountains are turned off all spring and summer.

Parked on the southwest side of the park to cast a line in the water. City website says there is a dock, but that is false. Parking area is littered with used condoms and drug paraphernalia. Random tweaker disassembling their car. Lots of trash in the water. Noticed city parks employees driving through, but never them actually getting out of their trucks, just driving around with a bed of trash bags. Walking path is an e bike race track. Only reason for two stars is because there is potential. The flood was in 2013 so please don’t bother with that excuse.

Beautiful day at this awesome park. Super clean restroom. Clean gazebos. Large fields. Great for pets due to the canal nearby. Swimming 🏊♀️ rafting, tubing. Very well maintained and convenient. The playground was cool enough and it was 105 degrees. Short time use during this hot day. 🔥

I take my dog here for walks. It's a great pathway and lots of areas where your baby can play in the water. It was kind of a bummer to see that they cut the trees by the water down and now you can see the water from the path. That was kind of a family hide away area but it's a beautiful park none the less
