  Favorite lunch spot in Johnstown! My go to is the chicken caesar salad. My husband loves their ruben sandwich. Comparable to a Panera Bread or Jason’s Deli but so much better in my opinion and cheaper. They always have delicious soups too. The soups change every day. Favorite soups have been broccoli cheddar, chicken & dumpling, chicken and rice and chicken noodle. The people that work there are always so welcoming and kind. Relaxing atmosphere with plenty of seating. They even have a puzzle sitting out to pop in a few pieces while you’re waiting for your to-go order. It’s never too long of wait time for food though.

  I went to the Lunchbox for the first time in a while and ordered my usual: turkey focaccia, no onion and add bacon. I was given the sandwich with onion and no bacon. Pretty sure bacon was an up-charge, so I paid for more than I actually received. I’m normally not one to complain (and typically love onion), but I’m pregnant and the sandwich was extremely disappointing.

  Just moved to Johnstown this month. First time to The Lunch Box. Staff was friendly, had smiles to offer. Good simple menu. It’s been a long while since I had a New York Style hotdog. Yummy. Got shakes, yummy but could use a bit of chocolate drizzle or extra syrup. Mom tried the potato salad and was impressed. Enjoyed all the lunch boxes used as decorations. Very close. You can order ahead and or have your lunch delivered.

  This was a great hole-in-the wall place with timely service, clean and welcoming atmosphere, and amazing food! Seriously, I got a wrap and I think it was the best one I’ve ever had. They also had good Wi-Fi and allowed me to stay for a while and do some personal computer work.

  Very friendly staff. Excellent service. Very accommodating to elderly and handicap. Small town vibes. Good conversations. Amazing local artwork. All of the soups and Chilli are great. I haven't had a bad sandwich there yet!
