I was here after CPW stocked the lake, but I didn't have any luck here. The shoreline is acceptable for fishing, but some parts have large trees to work around. It is a pretty lake, with the South Platte River running next to it.

Nice place for a walk. There was a bit of trash around the area, wish people would clean up after themselves. There are some areas you can fish on the lake but didn't see any accessible areas to fish the river.

Cottonmouth snakes, bull snakes, spiders and fish are not very easy to catch here. Tons of wildlife n bugs, bring lots of bug spray u need it, ware pants if you can tall grass and weeds.
